Structure
Reading structure as it forms
Breaks of structure, liquidity sweeps and order blocks look obvious on a finished chart. Live, you see them while they're still forming, and how Mark decides whether they count.
Live sessions · Weekdays 8–11AM PT
School never showed you how real trading decisions get made. Every weekday from 8 to 11AM Pacific, Mark Bechara shares his screen and reads gold (XAUUSD), NAS100 and SPX500 in real time. You hear the plan, each trade idea and the reasoning behind it, including the setups he skips.
Cancel anytime. Can't watch live? Every session is recorded to the vault.
How a session runs
The session follows the same rhythm every weekday: prepare, plan, decide, review. Here is what happens in each part and what to watch for.
Mark marks up gold and the indices: the higher-timeframe bias, key levels, where liquidity is resting, the overnight range and any high-impact news on the economic calendar.
The screen share starts with the plan: the levels that matter today, the scenarios he's watching on each market and what would make him stand aside. Questions go in the chat.
As price reaches the levels, you hear each decision as it's made: the trade idea, where the stop goes and why, and what would prove it wrong. When a setup doesn't line up, he says so and passes.
Mark goes back over the morning: what played out, what didn't and what he would want to see next time. Then the last questions from the chat.
Do the prep alongside him
The free Gold Pre-Market Checklist walks you through the same kind of prep. Fill it in before 8AM Pacific, then compare your levels with Mark's when the session opens. Get the checklist
Quiet mornings count too
Some mornings are busy and some are slow. On a slow one, you'll hear why waiting is the right call. Most traders learn that lesson the hard way.
Why watch it live
Anyone can explain a trade after it's over. Live, the outcome is still unknown, so you hear the real reasoning: what Mark sees, what he's waiting for and what would change his mind.
Structure
Breaks of structure, liquidity sweeps and order blocks look obvious on a finished chart. Live, you see them while they're still forming, and how Mark decides whether they count.
Risk
Each idea starts with where it would be wrong. You hear where the stop goes and why before there is any talk of targets.
Adapting
When price breaks a scenario, you watch the idea get dropped instead of forced. Letting go of a plan is a skill, and it's easier to learn when you see it done.
Three markets
Gold and the indices move differently. Watching all three on the same morning shows you how one Smart Money Concepts framework applies to each.
The setups he skips
Highlight clips only show the trades that worked. Live, you also see the setups that almost lined up and didn't, and you hear exactly why Mark passed. That's where most of the discipline in trading lives.
The kinds of reasons you'll hear for standing aside:
Recordings vault
Pacific mornings don't suit every schedule or time zone. Every live session is recorded to the vault, so you can watch it after work, on the weekend or whenever your day allows.
A recording teaches the most when you treat it like a live session. A simple routine:
Time zone helper
The session runs on Pacific clocks, 8 to 11AM, Monday to Friday. Here is what that means in other time zones, including the weeks when daylight saving shifts things by an hour.
On this device's clock
Worked out from your device's time zone for today's date. Daylight saving can move it by an hour at certain times of year.
| Time zone | Session, local time |
|---|---|
| PacificPST / PDT · Los Angeles, Vancouver | 8–11AMThe session clock. PDT (UTC−7) from mid-March to early November, PST (UTC−8) the rest of the year. |
| MountainMST / MDT · Denver, Calgary | 9AM–12PMArizona doesn't change its clocks: 8–11AM there from mid-March to early November, 9AM–12PM the rest of the year. |
| CentralCST / CDT · Chicago, Dallas | 10AM–1PM |
| EasternEST / EDT · New York, Toronto | 11AM–2PM |
| LondonGMT / BST | 4–7PMMost of the year.3–6PMMid to late March and the last week of October, while UK and US clocks are out of step. |
| DubaiGST · UTC+4, no daylight saving | 7–10PMMid-March to early November.8–11PMEarly November to mid-March. |
Why some times move
The session always follows Pacific clocks. US clocks go forward on the second Sunday in March and back on the first Sunday in November. The UK changes on the last Sunday in March and the last Sunday in October, and Dubai doesn't change at all. That's why London and Dubai shift by an hour for part of the year. If the live time doesn't work for you, the recordings vault does.
