Yearly billing is two months free. You can also prepay 3, 6 or 12 months in one payment, by card or USDC — see below.
Which one? If you want trades to appear on their own without exporting a file, that's Pro. If you're happy importing a statement once a week and want the coach and full analytics, Regular. Starter is for trying the journal with your own trades.
Upgrade
- In the app open Billing (top bar, or Settings → Manage plan & billing; it's
/app/billing), or pick the plan during onboarding. - Choose Monthly or Yearly and click Subscribe to Regular or Subscribe to Pro.
- You're taken to a secure Stripe checkout. Card details are entered there and never touch SniperJournal.
- After paying you land back on Billing and the plan is live immediately — no waiting. You also get a confirmation email.
Moving from Regular to Pro, or monthly to yearly: open Manage subscription, invoices & card on the Billing page and change the plan there. Stripe prorates the difference.
Prepay 3, 6 or 12 months (card or USDC)
If you'd rather not have a subscription on your card — or you want to pay in USDC — pick Prepay on the Billing page, choose 3, 6 or 12 months, then Regular or Pro. It's one payment at the monthly price × months ($39 × 6 = $234 for six months of Pro, for example) and nothing renews automatically.
How it works:
- Access starts the moment the payment confirms. If you already have time left on a prepaid pack of the same plan, the new months are added on the end.
- The Billing page shows Access until <date> · prepaid, no auto-renewal instead of Renews.
- Seven days before it ends you get one email with a renew link. To keep going, prepay another pack (or switch to monthly/yearly on the same page) before the date. Nothing is charged without you.
- When the date passes you drop to Starter. Your trades, playbooks and journal stay exactly as they were; anything past the Starter limits is locked until you pay again.
- Manage subscription, invoices & card still opens your Stripe portal, where the receipt for the pack is. There's no subscription in there to cancel — a pack simply ends on its date.
Paying with USDC: choose Prepay, and on the Stripe checkout page pick the stablecoin option next to card. If you don't see it, it's still being switched on — pay by card for now or email Mark.
Invoices, card changes, cancelling
Everything is on Billing → Manage subscription, invoices & card. That opens your Stripe customer portal where you can:
- download invoices and receipts
- update the card
- switch plan or interval
- cancel
When you cancel, you keep the paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. The Billing page shows Access until <date>. After that you drop to Starter — your trades stay, nothing is deleted, but anything past the Starter limits (extra accounts, trades past 100, the coach) is locked until you subscribe again.
Failed payment
If a renewal fails, Stripe retries the card a few times and emails you. Your plan stays active while that happens. Update the card in the portal and the next retry goes through. If every retry fails the subscription is cancelled and you drop to Starter.
Refunds
Email Mark. Cancelled a yearly plan by mistake a day after paying, charged twice, that kind of thing — just ask.
Questions about a charge
Every invoice is in the portal above. Reply to any SniperJournal email if something on your card statement doesn't look right.
