Automatic sync comes with Regular (2 accounts, every 30 minutes) and Pro (up to 5 accounts, every minute, plus Sync now). On Starter you can still bring trades in with a TradeLocker CSV — see Import files.
TradeLocker has no add-on to install. SniperJournal signs in to TradeLocker with the same details you use, pulls your closed positions, and syncs again automatically: every 30 minutes on Regular, every minute on Pro (or whenever you press Sync now on Pro).
Is it safe? SniperJournal only reads your closed positions: it never places, changes or closes a trade. TradeLocker has no separate read-only (investor) password, so the connection uses your normal TradeLocker login. It is encrypted (AES-256) before it is stored and never sent back to the browser. Remove the account on Accounts to delete the stored login. If you'd rather not share it, import a TradeLocker CSV instead (any plan).
What you need
- The email and password you log in to TradeLocker with.
- Your server name. This is the name your broker or prop firm gave you — it's shown on the TradeLocker login screen, for example
OSP,FUNDEDNEXT,HEROFX. It is not a URL. - Whether the account is Live or Demo (most prop-firm challenge accounts are Demo, even if they're the real challenge).
Steps
- In SniperJournal open Accounts (
/app/accounts) and click Connect TradeLocker. - Choose Live or Demo.
- Type your Server, Email and Password.
- Click Sign in & list accounts. SniperJournal signs in and shows every account under that login, with its number, currency and balance.
- Pick the account you want to journal, give it a Nickname (for example
FundedNext 100k), and click Connect this account. - The first sync starts straight away. Give it a minute, then refresh Accounts — status shows ok, with a trade count and a last-sync time.
Have more than one TradeLocker account under the same login? Repeat the steps and pick a different account each time. Pro has no account limit.
Check the first sync
Closed positions are paired up from your order history, so after the first sync compare the trade count and a couple of recent trades against TradeLocker's History panel. If something looks off, tell Mark which trade and we'll look at it.
Security
Your TradeLocker password is encrypted (AES-256) before it is stored and is never sent back to the browser. SniperJournal only reads history — it cannot place, modify or close a trade.
Changed your TradeLocker password?
The stored login stops working and the account shows error with a message like TradeLocker login failed. Fix: on Accounts, Remove the account, then Connect TradeLocker again with the new password.
Heads-up: removing an account also removes its trades from SniperJournal (you're asked to confirm). The reconnect pulls the last 12 months back in from TradeLocker, but any notes, tags or playbooks you added to those trades are gone. If you have a lot of journaled trades on that account, message Mark before removing it.
